Oris Baselworld 2012 Booth Photos of new releases
Tubbataha Regulator
This year Oris has come out with it's third dive watch that celebrates an endangered dive destination spot. In the tradition of The Great Barrier Reef, and Maldives before it, this new watch is dedicated to conservation of the Tubbataha dive park in the Philipines . The new Tubbataha, combines features from both previous dive conservation and brings some unique attributes. The case of the Tubbataha, is a cylindrical 46mm with similar angles and construction to the Aquis, Maldives & Carlos Coste Cenote Chronograph. The color scheme avoides the teal and satin fiinish of the Maldives and is closer to the deeper blue of the great barrier reef. This watch features a bezel that is different from either of the two previous in that it is both ceramic. Aside from these cosmetic differences, The Tubbataha is the first in the group to feature a regulator dial where only the minute hand is attached in the center of the watch, while the the hour hand is a subdial.

Re: ORIS
N E W M o d e l - Oris Artix GT Chronograph
Ref. No. 674 7661 4434
The cae, in stainless steel, measures 44mm. It has a black ceramic minute scale on the bezel with rubber coated “good grip” profile on the outside. The crystal is sapphire and it is water resistant to 100 meters.
The two-piece dial, with a matt black dial ring and a Tachymeter scale, is directly assembled in the case with both minute and hour counters, along with applied indexes. An interesting addition is the Oris developed retrograde mechanism, which allows the small seconds to ‘grow’ like the RPM counter in a racing car.
Movement is the Swiss automatic ETA caliber Valjoux 7750 with Oris developed small seconds complication.
