Bell & Ross: BR-X2 Skeleton Tourbillon Micro-Rotor
Fusing the case and movement into a single component to make the case disappear, leaving just the movement visible.” – Bruno Belamich, Bell & Ross
Belamich, the brand’s Creative Director, implemented his idea of showcasing the movement in the new
BR-X2 Skeleton Tourbillon Micro Rotor. The concept behind the BR-X2 models is simple: the movement is worn directly on the wrist. The mechanism is brought to the forefront, while the case disappears. Set between two anti-reflective sapphire crystal plates, the brand’s manufacture calibre BR-CAL.381 is thoroughly visible.
Bell & Ross makes its in-house caliber BR-CAL.381 thoroughly visible through two sapphire crystal plates
Bell & Ross miniaturized the in-house movement to a thin 4.05mm, yet providing a power reserve of 50 hours. Thus, the thickness of the watch decreases to 9mm while its square case measures 42,5mm in diameter. The skeletonized dial displays hours and minutes with Superluminova-filled hands and indices. Furthermore, it features a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock. Bell & Ross launches the watch in a limited edition of 50 total pieces. They all come on a grey alligator leather strap with decorative stitching and a steel folding buckle.
