Serving forests since 1992

In 1992, to mark the twentieth anniversary of the Royal Oak Collection, the Manufacture created a Swis-law not-for-profit Foundation. Its goal is to contribute, within the frameworl of environmental protection and awareness raising among youth, to the conservation of forests around the world.
On four continents

Erasing the devastation of forest fires, as in France or in Portugal; fighting desertification, as in Nambia and Brazil; ans associating villagers in the cause of forest conservation, as in the Congo in Thaïland: over the past fifteen years, the Foundation has funded projects in 26 countries spread across Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South America.
Children first

Keenly aware that nature conservation depends upon edcating children, and particularly the most underprivileged ones, the Foundation has supported numerous projects devoted to raising children's awareness of the need to preserve natural resources as well as the skills required to cultivate them : planting and caring for areas of greenery in the shanty towns of Santiago, and in the poorest districts of Albania, as well as extra-curricular projects in Armenia and in Quebec.
In 2007

From preserving the pilgrimage pathways of the Huichol Indians in Mexico, to renewing the oak forests of Switzerland, the Foundation is active in six different countries this year throught projects featuring a strong involvement of local populations in the defence of their natural heritage
