Helix Designs Extreme Diving Watch

Helix is a new brand from Callanen International. The firm, based in Norwalk, Connecticut, is a licensee of Nautica Watches and Ecko Watches. The company was founded in 1983 and now designs, manufactures and distributes these three brands of watches in over 70 countries around the world.

The Okto Deep Black’s movement is Swiss made. The dial is clean and uncluttered to provide the superior legibility paramount to a good dive watch. The SuperLuminova markers are oversized for deep underwater use.

Using a combination of fine watch engineering, the Okto Deep Black combines extra rigid case construction with an extra thick sapphire crystal (34.7x5.4mm) to withstand both the water’s pressure and getting banged around. The watch is tested and certified to be water-tight and resistant to 1,000 meters (3281 ft/100 ATM) according to the ISO 6425 Technical Diver’s Watch Standard.
