Tag Heuer Carrera Ring-Master For Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton and Alain Prost (Japan Only)
Fans of Formula 1 will love these.
To celebrate the brand’s 150 years association with motor sports, and as a nod to the ‘Professor’ Alain Prost’s return to F1 in an advisory capacity, Tag Heuer are releasing three Japanese market only limited edition Carrera models: the Carrera Ringmaster.
Three variants will be available – differentiated by a coloured inner bezel.
Four time F1 champion Alain Prost’s model (350 pieces) will be made in red.
There’s a 500 piece yellow model for 2008 F1 winner Lewis Hamilton.
And finally, a 500 piece blue model for 2009 champ Jenson Button.
Retail is likely to be around the $5500 mark – provided you can get yourself to Japan to pick one up!

Breaking News: The TAG Heuer Mikrotimer Will Be Produced And Delivered THIS YEAR (2011)
The live pictures and video we showed you of TAG Heuer's Mikrotimer Flying 1000 watch really seemed to impress you - and they should. This watch is incredible, a new configuration that allows it to beat at an unheard of 3.6million beats per hour. You guys were blown away by the speed and precision, but at the end of the day, it was still a concept watch and one commentor referred to it as "no better than those concept cars we see that look amazing but never see the light of day."
Guess what? We just got word that the Mikrotimer is indeed going into production, and production THIS YEAR. TAG will make ten pieces of the Mikrotimer to be delivered in late 2011 (which, come on, is not that far away), for a price of €65,000.
Part of the reason this watch will go into production this year? Well, the Mikrotimer was pre-selected for the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève in the Sports Watch Category, and in order to be considered, each entry must be in some form of production. So, now TAG is in! And honestly, compared to the other watches in the Sports category, it should be a shoe-in. If you believe the TAG Mikrotimer is deserving of a Grand Prix win, you can always vote for it yourself right here.
Also, TAG did inform us the watch will also be produced in 2012, as well. Although in very low numbers (under twenty) you're looking at Mikrotimer as part of the official TAG Heuer lineup for at least 2011 and 2012. And that, my friends, is awesome.
TAG Heuer insider blog Calibre 11brings us a first look at two new TAG Heuer Monaco McQueen editions. For now I’m going to focus on my favorite of the two, the TAG Heuer Monaco Steve McQueen Calibre 11. According to Calibre 11, this watch is “based on the traditional 39mm Monaco case, and like other Vintage Monaco editions, uses the Heuer logo and has the crown on the left-hand side of the case.” One other interesting tidbit I picked up from Calibre 11′s excellent and thorough review of the new Calibre 11 McQueen is that the Calibre 11 movement is no longer based on ETA movements. The movement is now apparently based on the Sellita SW-300 Calibre (very similar to the ETA 2892 base formerly used in the Calibre 11 movements) — this coming directly from the mouth of TAG Heuer CEO Jean-Christophe Babin. The Steve McQueen Caliber 11 will be available exclusively in TAG Heuer boutiques starting in a few weeks. In Switzerland, the McQueen Calibre 11 price will be CHF 7,700 (US Dollar price to be provided when available).
